About me: School

I started going to college at Salt Lake Community College in 2000, and finished with my Associates of General Studies in 2003. My main focus during this time was physical therapy.

I then transfered to the University of Utah in 2003, and graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology in 2007. Initially I wanted to get this degree and then continue my education by getting my doctorate in physical therapy. This changed right before I graduated to a focus on nursing. Nurses are now expected to know much more than they were in the past. They are expected to do research (at least at the U hospital), as well as community education. These are all things that I found that I was interested in. I really want an occupation that will allow me to continue to take classes and keep up with current technology (I will post more about the hospital later).

I have now gone back to school with the intent of receiving my BSN, and then going on to receive either my CRNA, NP, or NE Master's Degree. We will see how that works out. Stay posted for further details
